The 'Sri Aurobindo Institute of Integral Education' (SAIIE) is a special Institute aiming at integral development of students, founded on the educational principles and thoughts of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. This institute was set up on 15th July 1970 by the then Sri Aurobindo Sankruti Sansad [now transformed to Sri Aurobindo Sankruti Sansad Trust] in Bhubaneswar for dissemination of the aims and objectives of the Philosophy of Integral Education as done in Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education, Pondicherry. A total perfection is the ultimate aim.

What we set before us, as our ideal is the Divine Life upon earth. In the real sense, ours is an attempt at evolving newer ways of learning and thinking and it is also an attempt towards going beyond the structural schooling into a joyful freedom of inner growth that would flow from within to without. This Novel System richly deserves unstinted encouragement with all generous support to build up a “Better Tomorrow for the Mankind” as a whole.

It is not for our family, it is not to secure a good position, it is not to earn money, it is not to obtain a diploma, that we study. We study to learn, to know, to understand the world, and for the sake of the joy that it gives us.                                                                                                                 - The Mother
